Vinny’s is a cozy, family-owned Italian restaurant rooted in tradition, flavor, and the comfort of homemade food. Inspired by the spirit of Sunday dinners at Nonna’s, it serves handmade pastas, rustic wines, and hearty dishes in a space that feels like home.
Branding
I wanted the brand to reflect the traditional Italian feel that I grew up with when I went to my Grandma’s. The food isn’t the only thing that is handmade, as much of the artwork, signage, and lettering of the past was handmade as well.

Many logo variations were explored, but one in particular stood out to me. I attempted to spell out Vinny’s with spaghetti, which became the basis for the logo. Additionally I created stamps for various items of the cuisine. Once digitized, these elements added even more to the handmade feel.

My goal was to create a brand identity and digital presence that captured this same warmth, blending old-world Italian charm with a modern, seamless experience across print, packaging, and digital platforms. From menus and wine labels to marketing collateral and environmental design, every touchpoint was crafted to tell Vinny’s story through thoughtful, intentional design.

Vinny's let me build an identity from a personal place, the handmade warmth of my grandmother's kitchen, and carry it across every touchpoint, from a logo spelled out in spaghetti to hand-carved stamps, menus, packaging, and signage. The challenge was keeping the whole system feeling handcrafted rather than just decorated, so the warmth survived from a wine label to a storefront. Designing an entire brand end to end, instead of a single artifact, is the muscle I most want to keep building.
